Synopsis:
Its 1962 – the 50’s are out and change is in the air. Tracy Turnblad, a big girl with big hair and an even bigger heart, has only one passion – dancing.
Her dream is realized when she wins a spot on a local TV dance program, and is transformed overnight from outsider to teen celebrity. But can a trendsetter in dance and fashion defeat the program’s reigning princess, win the heart of heart-throb Link Larkin —all without messing up her hairdo?
